Meghan Kathrein, PTA
Meghan Kathrein was born and raised in Little Falls, MN, and while her hometown will always hold a special place in her heart, she expresses immense gratitude for the warm reception she has received from the Wahpeton/Breckenridge community over the last 5 years. When not occupied in the clinic treating patients, Meghan finds joy in activities like reading, playing bingo, and spending quality time with her pets, friends, and family.
Meghan completed her general education at North Dakota State College of Science and graduated in May 2021. In August of the same year, she resumed her studies at Lake Area Technical College (LATC) in Watertown, SD, dedicating two years to mastering the knowledge required for a licensed physical therapist assistant. Meghan successfully graduated from LATC in May 2023, and after completing her studies, she continues her commitment to the field by staying current with the latest studies and information about physical therapy.
Meghan has a broad appreciation for treating various diagnoses, but her favorites include working with patients undergoing total knee replacements, addressing deconditioning concerns, and assisting those struggling with balance issues. Her time in physical therapy has proven to be rewarding, with the ability to connect with patients and gain their trust in her care solidifying her belief that she has chosen the right career path.
